1. Is it legal to use a tuning chip on an e-bike?
   
   PearTune MSO tuning kits are intended exclusively for use outside of public roads, such as on private property or closed tracks. Modifying an e-bike removes the 25 km/h speed limit, which conflicts with current road traffic regulations. As the user, you assume full responsibility for where and how you use the modified e-bike. 2. Can I install the chip myself, or do I need to visit a service center?
   
   Our chips are designed as a simple "Plug & Play" process that an average user can handle using basic tools. The kit is simply plugged between the motor connectors and the speed sensor. All wiring is equipped with original connectors for easy connection. Additionally, we include a detailed step-by-step manual with every product to guide you through the installation.
   
   
3. How do I know if the chip is compatible with my e-bike?
   
   Compatibility primarily depends on the manufacturer and model of your motor (e.g., Bosch, Shimano, Bafang, or Yamaha). Although our chips are designed to be difficult to detect after physical removal, we recommend considering this risk. 5. How is the tuning activated and deactivated?
   
   Most of our chips are conveniently controlled directly via the buttons on your e-bike display (e.g., using a combination of light buttons or Walk Assist).
